Thanks(Mon, 29 October 2007 18:10:00 GMT) Thank you to everyone for helping to make this year's festival such a great success. We will be producing an on-line feedback form to gather your views for consideration in planning next year's event. If you attended the workshops then you will receive an email inviting you to complete the online form. We hoep to get this ready in the next couple of weeks. International Balboa Competition(Mon, 29 October 2007 18:10:00 GMT) The quality of the dancing in the competition was fantastic this year. The rules specified that you could only enter with someone living in a different country to yourself. This meant that some of the entrants hadn't danced with each other until the weekend. The results were: 1st - Jonas Pettersson (Sweden) & Moe Sakan (Japan/London), 2nd - Benoit Jegout (France) & Sylvia Sykes (USA), 3rd - Andreas Olsson (Sweden) & Kelly Arsenault (USA). Congratulations go to these and the other three couples that made the final. Thank you to all 14 couples that entered for providing such great entertainment. Special Guest Ray Cunningham(Mon, 22 October 2007 21:00:00 GMT) We are delighted that Ray Cunningham will be joining us and teaching a couple of Laminu taster classes. Taster classes with Marcus and Baerbl(Mon, 22 October 2007 21:00:00 GMT) We are pleased to announce that Marcus Koch and Baerbl Kaufer will be teaching a couple of Shag taster classes during the weekend. Evening Tickets are now on Sale(Sun, 30 September 2007 11:55:00 GMT) Entrance to the evening dances is included for everyone attending the full festival weekend. Otherwise, if you want to come along just for the social dancing then ticket prices are as follows: £20 Friday 26th, £22 Saturday 27th, £15 Sunday 28th, £45 Evening Dance Pass (come to all 3 evenings and save £12). All tickets must be purchased in advance. Go to the on-line booking form to purchase your tickets. No more places for followers...(Wed, 22 August 2007 23:30:00 GMT) We've now sold out of places for all followers. We still have places left for leaders. Bookings Update #2(Sat, 18 August 2007 17:40:00 GMT) Registrations and payments came in extremely quickly this year and we've now sold out of places for single followers. Bookings Update(Sat, 18 August 2007 15:28:00 GMT) Bookings and payments are flooding in extremely quickly. We need to some time to assess the bookings position regarding ratio of leaders to followers. We've therefore temporarily taken down the booking form to prevent any further bookings while we assess the situation. We anticipate this will take us a couple of hours or so. We expect to open bookings in July or August.
